  Lineage

  Gulupa is a Purple Kush x Gelato 33 cross. The Kush provides the vibrancy of the plant’s colors and also the minty earthiness which underlines the base flavor. From the Gelato side comes extra sweetness and a citrusy tang, along with a euphoric sense of energy.

  Aromas and Flavours

  This is an extremely aromatic plant in the grow room. The aroma is an intense summer cocktail of citrus and tasty fruits with hints of strawberry and passion fruit.

  In the taste department, Gulupa will tantalize terpene aficionados with its intricate flavor puzzle which is difficult to define. What is not in doubt is the intensity, flooding the mouth with full bodied flavor and lingering on the tongue. At the foundation there’s a strong hashy earthiness, overlaid with passion fruit freshness, citrus, berries and hints of spice and mint.   Cultivation

  Difficulty Level: Medium

  Indoors:
  Gulupa is a medium sized plant, versatile and quite forgiving. It displays vigorous growth, achieving medium heights in the grow room. It’s bushy in structure, and multiple bud sites proliferate from its many branches. These swell with heavy, chunky buds which will be a surprise to growers familiar with the typical (smaller) flower production traits of its parent plants. It is recommended to prune this plant after about 5 weeks of flowering and lollipop the lower branches, leaving about 30 cm stem from the base.*

  Outdoors:
  A great outdoor plant to grow, Gulupa will reach heights of 2 metres in Mediterranean zones where the sunshine will fuel its aromatic display and big bud production. It is also recommended for exotic lovers growing in northern regions, displaying excellent resistance qualities.

  *As with all exotic strains, the flipside of more potency and flavor is that plants can be more susceptible to hermaphroditism when stressed. For this reason keep a close eye for pollen sacks on lower branches and use the above lollipop technique to stop any issue developing.

  Yield and Presentation

  Gulupa is characterized by the purple colors which sweep through the plant as it progresses through flowering – from the vivid intensity of the magenta and plum tones of leaves surrounding the bud sites to the purple highlights streaking the buds. Flame red pistils add a fiery flourish to the beautiful buds which look like freshly prepared delicacies; fat, juicy and packed with crystals.

  Recreational: 

  For an indica leaning plant, the effect is surprisingly energetic and lucid.It arrives almost instantly, with a pleasant and uplifting cerebral creep. It is very easy to work with, bringing a sense of contentment and creativity and allowing the flow of deep thoughts which will appeal to the inner philosopher. The body effect is an easy going sense of relaxation which is never overwhelming.

  Medical:

  Suitable for growing outside between 50º n.L. and 50º s.L., Gulupa cannabis seeds will produce plants that finish in early October outdoors between 50º n.L. and 50º s.L. Indoors, it will be ready after 60 – 65 days. Estimated yield is 500 grams per m² indoors / 700 grams per plant outdoors.
